Air Lotus

This is a 7 meter high sculpture created specifically for the atrium of the Grand Hyatt Hotel, West Bay, Doha made of gold-plated copper and brass. The leaves move  gracefully with the slightest breeze, making the sculpture come alive. During the day, the sunlight reflects off the hand-hammered leaves. At night the up-lights in the marble base make it the dramatic focal point of the atrium.
